Opinion: If Jillian was on the up and up and not a murderess what do you think would have happened with David? Do you think he would have happily left Blue Moon and Maddie without a backward glance? Or would he have regretted leaving with Jillian because he missed Maddie and he would have returned to Blue Moon?

He wouldn't have run away with her IMO. He fell (again) for her only because she played her little scheme of the poor, threatened, abused woman. Hadn't the whole charade happened, he wouldn't have gotten so close to her.

Well what if he had? I said imagine she was not a murderess but actually wanted him.

I think he would have. He told Maddie in the office when he was getting ready for the funeral he was leaving with Jillian and didn't know when he would be back. I think he was thinking with his other head at this time.

Yes, he said that. But all this happened only because of the charade she had made up. Think back at the hotel scene. He was angry at her, and her explanation "I dumped you because you didn't make much money" didn't make her more attractive to him. The tables turned only when and only because she played the "poor victim" card. He might have been tempted to boink her (although I think she had lost all her attractiveness for him), but why would he have gone away with her?

He was interested in her before she played the 'poor victim'. If he didn't care anymore he wouldn't have bothered to go to her hotel for 'closure'. Why would he care? Believe me when you are over someone you could care less about your past relationship and why it ended! M: So you two went out? D: Stayed in mostly. LOL..Oh that devil!

Hmmm I don't see this as a romantic or sexual interest. You can be "over" someone in the meaning of not being "in care" anymore, and still feel the need to get to sone closure if the relationship ended badly or weirdly. Or you simply want to tell that person face to face "you're an asshole and you hurt me but you don't have power over me anymore" - that can be very cathartic and cleansing. I've done that myself. Feeling that urge doesn't mean you're ready to jump in bed with that person, letalone run away with them; mainly the opposite.

You could see it in his face that he still had feelings for Jillian as soon as he saw her in Maddie's office. And I JMO opinion but he would have gone away with her for awhile but maybe a couple of weeks later he would have gone back to Blue Moon and Maddie.

Oh yes, he still had feelings, agree. I just don't think they attracted him to her, but then who knows...

How can you say that when he was going to her hotel room every night? and then that scene by the car he looked um very interested and then he doesn't come in the next day too busy with Jillian and I'm sure they weren't playing cards. LOL

Every night? I remember him going there angry, and the scene at the car was already after her "poor victim scheme". And I can say it because it's the impression and feeling I get when I watch this episode. Didn't you ask our opinions? Well, this is mine...

This was my initial question. You are taking it as if she was still planning her husband's murder. And Maddie said that his job wasn't to go to her hotel every night. And David said 'It's not?' and Maddie said "No it isn't.'

No, I'm not. I'm saying that he was angry when he got to her hotel room and that his further "interest" shown in the episode was due to her scheme. I'm saying that I don't think he had any romantic or sexual interest in her and therefore, giving she would not have set up her scheme she wouldn't have provoked any interest in him.
And I don't think the exchange in the hospital proves that he went to her hotel room every night; at least we haven't seen him do it. But I could be wrong of course.

I will not argue with you you have a right to your opinion.
