Between a Yuk and a Hard Place

the wake of her miscarriage, Maddie throws herself into her work, while David plans a lengthy trip out of town. The detectives are hired by a woman who thinks her husband may be concealing the fact that he has been married before. It transpires that his previous wife died and he was tried for her murder. He was acquitted, but later confessed that he had in fact done it. Then his current wife is killed and he confesses to the murder, but Maddie proves his innocence. Maddie and David finally confront their feelings over the miscarriage after being stuck overnight in an elevator.
