I think after re-watching all the shows I'd have to say this is my favorite episode of the series. It has everything. Angst, emotion, M&D together a lot, a great case, a fun chase at the end, Maddie running to David in the middle of the night, their first real and honest kiss. And they both end the episode super happy - and look so gorgeous throughout. So much happened and it has such a great balance between the work and the relationship stuff.
My favorite ep used to be THE SON ALSO RISES - but, now, I think this is it.
;D

I love both these episodes. David is extra hot in MTTC. I love the Son Also rises for a few reasons. I love how boyishly handsome he is in this episode. I love how Maddie admits she misses him. I love how they look at each other like they can't get enough..The way David asks her to the party is adorable as is the way she accepts so quickly. The love between them is so evident.

Yeah - there is a lot of love and excitement in TSAR between them - they really came back to S3 looking refreshed and happy -- crazy the twists and turns that season took! Love the way Maddie is there for David in this episode (except for ditching him at the party) - but she's worried about him all day, finds him drunk in the car, listens and then is willing to go to the wedding - advising him the whole way...even if he doesn't listen. haha. Very cute. and then they are such a couple dancing at the end. But, MTTC is still my fav. oh! Plus, MTTC has David in those sweatpants. BONUS!

Ah. Ok...well, David is acting crazed. Maddie doesn't know what's wrong, but she knows SOMETHING is wrong. He told her he needed her to stay - and then after the confrontation in the bathroom she leaves. I guess she was embarrassed because David was making a scene, but, either way, he's upset, somethings wrong...he told her kinda desperately 'I need you to stay' - so she should have stayed with him, driven him home and gotten him to tell her more about what was going on...she didn't know anyone st the party so why did she care if they were wondering what was up?

Hmm we must have watched a different episode. As I remember, he begged her to stay and she walked out on him because she was pissed off. I think it was when his father came in. She should simply have stayed when he begged for it. And why do you keep asking me?? LOL ask Shawna, you David basher LOLLLL

exactly, Shawna. She was pissed because she was embarrassed. If I remember well, SHE made the scene outside the bathroom. Again, it was about HER??? smh

No I give David right when he is right you never give Maddie the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she should have stayed but she wasn't obligated to. David acted like a complete jerk. Let's discuss that irrational behavior and how he once again picked on the poor bathroom fixtures in a fit of temper.

That's nonsense, and you know it. Just because I happen to think Maddie is wrong on a few occasion when you think she's righr and I think David is right on a few occasions you think he isn't that doesn't mean I give him always right and her always wrong. I give Maddie right when I think she's right to, and I name it when I think he's wrong. We just happen to judge those occasions differently, that's all. But I agree that there are more occasions when I think she's wrong. This is one of them.
Obligated?? Seriously? Of course she wasn't obligated to. We're not building a court case here, are we?? At no point was he ever obligated to tell her he loved her, but we agree that he damn better should have done it. And I think you shouldn't abandon a friend-and-maybe-more when he begs you to stay, whether he acts like a jerk or not.

Let's discuss that irrational behavior and how he once again picked on the poor bathroom fixtures in a fit of temper. Why?? LOL so we can drop the subject that she ditched him? I never said he acted in a rational, perfect way in this situation. His dad had every right to be angey with him. She did not, at this point. Of course he acted crazed. Doesn't change her abandoning him in a moment of need.

Did we agree on that? I thought you always said that she didn't want to listen or poor D was scared. LOL

That's why you see or remember only what you want to see LOL I always said of course it would have been better if he had spoken up/acted differetly in certain situations (for example BMOMS already). Still, I understand (in most of these situations) why he didn't. Same as you always say Maddie wasn't right doing this or that, running away etc., but you understand why she did it. Where exactly is the difference??
And yes, there were a few occasions when she chose not to listen. If you remember well, I also said when she was ready to listen, he didn't talk.

Blah blah lollll and I admit she should not have left despite her reasons yet I've yet to hear he should have spoken up despite his. Oh Poor D was intimidated by Sam. Oh Maddie was going to throw it in his face. And saying it would have made it better if he had spoken up still does not lead me to believe you think he was wrong keeping his dumb mouth shut especially when she was almost begging him in her office.
