What are your experiences with that dreaded thing? Ever had it? How did you deal with it? Can you really deliberately overcome it?

I never have writer's block since I partnered up with Rose cause we are ALWAYS either on twitter or face book devising situations for our duo....all one of us has to say is hey I was thinking...and well it just pours out. When I was writing alone..it was harder..harder to think of ideas or to know if they were ok?

Oh okay... often it's not the ideas that are missing - I have let's say the "major plan", but when it comes to filling it with life, writing a certain scene, sometimes I need extra inspiration... hard to explain

I understand. But sometimes when I am writing I just feel someone writing it for me..when I'm done and reread it I don't even remember writing it..weird LOL

Same here. The characters seem to take over.

My mind is always going with ideas and scenes for maddie and david think i have 25 years bottled up inside LOL True if i was writing alone for one i would never write LOL and it must be harder to write alone but obviously its done but im sure takes more time. Its amazing how well sue and I meshed together in writing! twitter DM are amazing for those scenes that just seem to write themselves like its rapid firing sometimes back and forth! but i think there are times we all dont feel like writing maybe something going on that day in our lives or we may be very tired . if you get stuck maybe move on to a differant scene or watch Moonlighting for inspiration?

Yes, that's what I usually do (move to a different scene), or sometimes I find it necessary to just take a bit of time-out: stay away from writing for a few days or a week (or as long as it takes) and not trying hard to make inspiration happen. Watch some completely other stuff.

If I"m writing something I don't know I like to do research on a idea I have. I like to use the thesaurus.

I use the thesaurus alot too. I try not to use the same words over and over but there are only so many ways to say 'thrust' or 'lick' rofl

Great method: a knock-down-drag-out fight on twitter (or, still better, facebook) with your favorite antagonist over a scene of the show you always fight about, playing out the scene and the dialogue as it should have been! ;D
