Well I don't think he was as superficial as you make him seem. Besides, when they were in bed, she didn't care either - only afterward, then she regretted her loss of control. She hated it.

Maddie is a thinker in everything LOL Only time she didn't think was in bed with David LOL but yes after she regretted LOL It was early stages for them also i think ya know first month of a relationship and they were like horny teenagers who couldnt get enough of each other but it would have slowed down i tihnk if she gave it more time soon they wouldn't be doing it every night and they would be snuggling on her couch watching movies and going out for cheeseburgers JMO LOL

Not superficial! A man! LOL. Sorry but if you say as long as he could bed her he couldn't care less (for what she thought), that IS superficial, and you don't seriously think every man is like that?? I know a few that aren't, and I believe David was one of them. Agree with Rose, things would have gone their normal way if she had given them time... relationships develop, there is no need nor possibility to plan them in detail like Maddie wanted to! |

Most men aren't deep thinkers. Sorry, but it is true. That is not superficial. They don't sit and analyze relationships etc. I don't do that either but most women do!

I never said he didn't think of anything else but sex did I? I said as long as he had her in bed which I meant in David's thinking that he had her as a gf. lover whatever. And David said it himself in I think it was CHD..his words paraphrased. 'I don't spend time thinking about this relationship stuff.'

No you didn't say that and I didn't say you did. You said he couldn't care less, and that's what I referred to. Ah but you meant a long as she kept going to bed with him in general? But I still don't agree, sorry. It's superficial to me if a person thinks as long as tge other one keeps sleeping with me, I don't care about the rest or about what he/she thinks of feels. I believe you said that, and I find it superficial, and I don't think all men are like that. And there's a difference between analyzing everything to death and only thinking with your underwear. Oh btw there's a German saying: who keeps looking with suspicion at everything and is always searching for something negative will find worms even in sauerkraut. That's Maddie.

Well maybe I used the wrong term when I said he couldn't care less. What I meant was that as long as Maddie was sleeping with him he thought the relationship was going along fine. And all men are like what? Most men don't analyze their relationships or spend time discussing and dissecting things. Maddie takes thinking to a new level, I agree but David figured he had her as long as she was with him. And I never said that he didn't care about her feelings but you must admit that he ignored the very things she had always said she wanted in a date when he planned what was to him 'the most important date of his life'.
