Why was she sooo mad at the symphony when she realized she and David were not sitting together? I mean it's not like he did it on purpose.

Maddie only needed to acknowledge David and he wouldn't have fallen off the balcony. Why is she so afraid of public embarrassment?

Well nobody likes to be embarrassed, but I think she was a bit over sensitive in that department. That makes her look superficial to a certain extent, but maybe it came from her former modeling career which is solely based on looks, thus on the exterior, the superficial. I think that in her modeling business, image meant everything, and later that still shone through.

Maybe but I sincerely wanted to shake her when he was trying to get her attention. Then stranding him at the curb was just plain mean. If she would have just behaved like a grown woman instead of a spoiled 12 year old she still could have enjoyed the symphony. I mean why did they have to sit together? I'm sure she would have wanted to listen to the music while David slept (lol). She was wrong.
And another instance of over the top anger...I mean throwing a heavy object at his head? Because Queen Maddie got embarrassed the previous night? Really? These are the instances where I can not understand her and don't really like her.

Yes, I agree. Way over the top. Not wanting to be embarrassed is fine, and everybody has a different level of embarrassment they are willing to take LOL but the other thing is that it was her own fault that people looked at her - she just had to react to David's attempts to get her attention, that's all. (The same happened by the way in Son Also Rises -- she kept wreaking havoc in front of the bathroom door, pounding and yelling outside and then got upset with David "People are staring at me!")

Yes she was the one who made the scene in SAR. No one would have noticed anything was awry if she didn't cause that scene. Typical Maddie blames David! LOL

I think because she was terrified of her feelings for him because he wasn't the image of her perfect man so by blaming him for things, for making him seem undesirable she was trying to make him less attractive to her. What do you think?>

Hmmm... that sounds plausible to me. Ha! Italian saying: "chi disprezza, vuol comprare" - who depreciates wants to buy

No it means the more you re putting something down the more you're really interested in it -- trying to beat down the price! Or, in other words, she doth protest too much

Yes she was. Crazy, nuts... hopelessly, helplessly, truly, madly, deeply. Sigh...
