Should David have given her a second chance?

I know we all want a happy ending for David and Maddie but truthfully if it was some random show you were watching do you think David should have given Maddie a second chance after everything she had put him through? Why or why not?

Oh I think it's very hard to pretend it was another show, but yes I think he definitely should have. Because she had really changed I think, she had really understood a few things - that she loved him the way he was and that their relationship was worth fighting for. She deserved a second chance, and he gave it to her, regardless what happened later. What do you think? Should he have?

IDK cause then we had the loss of the baby and Yuk. I think he was willing to give it a try and then they lost the baby but they all seemed to have reconciled in Yuk and then Pals>>>so who knows?

Well let's leave out season 5 for a moment - do you think from how he acted in Flesh that he was giving her that chance in that moment? I mean, they do look like they were a couple in Womb, no?

Yes and no. She does wake up alone so why isn't he sleeping there? and then he acts like an ass over the porn nannies he wants to hire for the office...so here I would say no. But then after he comes back into her office to apologize for being crude over the women in the outer office (he was juvenile and mean) and they are sitting on the couch together with his hand on her belly and her hand covering his yes. Also, who takes you to your shower> Your bf or husband? David takes her to the restaurant where she is surprised by the staff etc. And during the shower they are dancing together, sitting together and their smiles and eye contact are those of a couple in love. Lastly, after she loses the baby he is sitting by her hospital bed like a husband, holding her hand and comforting her telling her they will be fine and he will be there with her(who knows what happens between that and Yuk?) and she is looking to him for comfort. So if I had to say yes or no I would say yes they were a couple in womb.

I don't know if it was full but I think that he did give in mostly yes..still with some reservations like maybe not sleeping over all the time etc. but she seemed happy in WOmb except when he was torturing her with the nannies and when she lost the baby of course. But she was even SINGING during her car ride to work!

If he had forgiven fully i guess we would have seen them together more no? but i do believe her forgave her enough probably, not fully no, but ,mostly maybe? i do wish we knew if he was sleeping over too but to me i think that would be a big deal for them and that we would have known about it maybe? jmo

Who would have made a big deal out of it? Surely not the season 5 writers. And remember Glenn thought most ML fans were smart enough to read between the lines. I think they were probably together sexually after Flesh and into Womb. It wouldn't make sense if they were a couple and they didn't share a bed on occasion. I don't think that they were in a fully committed relationship at this point but it seemed to be leading to marriage and a family until we were kicked in the teeth at the end of Womb.

Yes I think we would have seen it. But I think he did sleep at her place a few times!
