I'm occupied pretty much with this episode these days for my current fanfic and have been rewatching it in parts and entirely a few times. Now here's something I never understood (and still don't): In the beginning, right after the limbo scene, when David leaves Maddie's office and she follows him, he seems genuinely upset with her, and for the life of me I don't get why! I mean, does he really think she had no right to be upset with him for the whole limboing thing? Why?? Does he really think he has to prevent the employees from leaving? They would be really stupid if the left, because the are indeed underworked and overpaid, as far as we can judge. So why is he so angry? Trying to find excuses and play it down would be a typical pattern for David, but this?

He really had to right to be angry at her. I think his show of petulance is part of the immaturity she is trying to get rid of. He acted like a spoiled child caught with his hand in the cookie jar but so mad cause he is punished.

Hmm you think that's all? I'm not sure. He seems so genuinely upset and angry. He must have known that was crap LOL and usually she was the one acting like a spoiled child, I don't see him like that, but I can't find any other explanation!
