Why do you think that Maddie became so enraged when David wanted to continue with the case after they had discovered what the client had actually done to his wife?

Well because she thought he needed to be arrested, not helped. Basically, she was right, but she didn't acknowledge the fact that it's possible just seeing red. Or do you mean did she personally have experiences with violence? I don't think so, we'd have discovered that.

He should have been arrested lol but I meant her anger at David and accusing him of thinking it was "fine" that a man hit his wife.

Well because he wanted to take the case. In her book, that meant he was fine with the man's actions. That was what I meant with her always seeing things either black or white with no grey in between. She wouldn't have any "excuse" for a man hitting his wife, she wouldn't accept that there could be situations where bad things happen that people don't intend to happen. She had to learn to be more open to the grey between the black and white - which is life. Nobody and nothing is perfect, there are stains on every white. In her world, obviously that didn't exist.

I think she got it a bit after she lost hit and slapped David..I think she understood more from losing it herself. She did go to Bower's house which showed David she was sorry.

That was a progress for her, and what I always liked about Maddie is that she was stubborn allright, but she could admit when she was wrong and she was open to change her mind eventually! As I said on twitter today, a very insightful episode. Gosh, David really taught her so many things about real life, right?

Yes we didn't get why Maddie reacted that way was it just the way of the world and how we know a man shouldn't hit his wife is that how she felt and reacted to it like that. Yes agree maybe she saw it as David thinking it was ok to hit your wife. And again agree Maddie felt horrible when she hit David (mind you not first time she hit him) But she realized she was very wrong and that's why she showed up to the Bowers that night. Too bad though we didn't hear an apology but i guess it was like that alot with Maddie and David it was an unspoken apology like many other things they understood with only a look at each other .

Yes, I agree many unspoken moments between them. A look could speak volumes.

Well she did apologize in spoken right after it had happened and when she showed up at the client's house she showed him that she really had meant it.

Yes, she did verbally say she was sorry immediately after she struck him.
